Enjoy the best of both cities and combine guided walks of Rostock and Warnemuende with an interesting boat ride. Start your tour with a guided walk through the downtown area in Rostock and pass the most significant attractions. From the market square with the town hall, along the busy boulevard Kroepeliner Street with its restored merchant homes, to the bustling University Square lined with art work and historic buildings. See Rostock's university (est. 1419), the Holy Cross Convent, parts of the town wall and pay a visit to St. Marien Church with the famous Astronomical Clock. Enjoy a view of Rostock from above at St. Peter's church before boarding the boat for the scenic cruise on the Warnow river to Warnemünde.
After arrival at the sea, take some time of for a lunch snack, for example a fish sandwich at one of the many boats and stalls along the canal. After lunch join your guide for a walk to the most interesting places in Warnemünde. See the lighthouse, beach promenade, pretty gabled houses and the lively boulevard along the "Alter Strom" boulevard and hear stories from past and present that will shine a light onto the lifestyle and tradtions of the locals.
